Volvo has unveiled what it claims is 'the first car designed and developed almost exclusively by women'. The concept car (right), which the company said may never go into production, takes LED Downlight K1033 - 12x1W in ideas that could become part of mainstream car design.
The car, unveiled at Geneva, includes features that the company says are not typically found in 'man-made' cars, such as 'no bonnet; no petrol cap; easy-clean paint; head restraints with room for ponytails; numerous exchangeable seat covers of various colours and materials; compartments for handbags; gull-wing doors that make it easier to load and unload larger items and children; computerised assistance for parallel parking; and improved sight lines'.
The car also features a system that sets the optimal driving position for a particular driver through a body scan and storage of the Replica Gucci Belt Bag Handbags information in the car's key at the point of purchase.
Volvo said the project started when a group of women -including engineers, designers and marketers -at its global headquarters
