POLICE are investigating a sexual assault on a young student in a St Judes alleyway.
Investigators say the 17-year-old girl was grabbed by two men shortly after 4.30am on January 10 as she walked along Rosebury Road and dragged down a service road which lies between Craven Avenue and Durham Avenue.
She told police the two men, both of Asian appearance, spoke to each other in a foreign language majorica Line Earring before one of them left the scene.
The remaining man then subjected the girl to the sexual assault which police fear may have become even more serious before she struck him with her shoe.
She Replica TAG Heuer fled the area before flagging down a black Hackney carriage cab in nearby Beaumont Road. The cab driver, an Asian man whom police are keen to trace, took her to a cashpoint at the Texaco garage in Plymouth Road, Plympton where she paid her fare.
The man who first left the scene is described as between 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins tall, in his early 30s and of skinny build. He had black "longish" hair down past his ears and brushed forwards. He was clean shaven and wore a puffy, black casual coat and dark denim jeans.
Her attacker is described as 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, in his early 30s, of a slightly larger build
embroidered patches but still skinny, with black collar length hair. He was unshaven and wore a black cotton V-neck jumper, light denim jeans and a pair of white trainers with black stripes.
